Information about your wedding website

One of the biggest days of your life! How better to celebrate it than with a website to share photos, stories and information with all your family and friends.

Use the site to inform people of all those important details, like dates and times, where the ceremony will be held, where the reception is, relevant maps, details of the wedding lists, bus, plane, train, taxi info... and so on.

Other things you should know about the website

You don't have to live in the UK or Ireland to build your website online. You can be anywhere in the world.

The time taken to create your website depends really on the type of site you want, if you have the information to hand and the number of photos you need to upload. For straightforward websites with up to ten photos, it should only take a few minutes.

You will be able to make updates to the website at anytime using your personal control panel. Changes made will take effect immediately.

As is appropriate, there will be a discreet 'WebWedding.org' logo that will blend in with your webpage. There will be no other advertising logos, etc.

Photographs

You will have the facility to add and remove digital photographs and movies (.gif, .jpg, .mov, .jpeg, etc.) to your website using the control panel.

If you don't have digital photos you can post us the photos you want uploaded and we will scan and upload them for you for a small fee (the first ten are free). We will return your photos once uploaded.

The maximum number of photos permitted depend on the website type. Additional space can be purchased for more photos if required.

No pornographic images or images that are deemed to be offensive will be permitted.

Customise Your Website

Buy your own website address (domain name): you can have your own unique website address upon request, e.g. www.ourwedding.info. This will take a day or two to come through and will cost extra! Contact us for further information.

You have your own domain name: If you have your own domain you can forward the address to point to your chosen webwedding address. Contact us if you need help with this.
